all_img_kremlin.jpg The Moscow Kremlin is a great monument of history and architecture; it has already become not only a symbol of Moscow but one for all Russia. Incomparable and grand ensemble of Kremlin rises on Borovitskiy Hill, in the very heart of Moscow.

In 1991 was founded The State Historal and Cultural Museum-Preserve "The Moscow Kremlin", which is composed of  the Armory Chamber, a world-wide known treasure-house; Uspensky, Arkhangelsky, Blagovestchensky; Archangel’s Cathedrals, the dynastic necropolis of Moscow Great Princes and Tsars; the Assumption Cathedral, which for centuries had been the main cathedral of the Russian State; Annunciation Cathedral,  the home church of Moscow Great Princes and Tsars; Ivan the Great Bell-Tower complex; and world-famous Diamond fund, where Tzars regalia, the crown of the Russian Empire, Russian and foreign medals, the biggest gold and platinum bars, giant diamonds, numerous pieces of jewelry are stored.                                                                              

The Moscow Kremlin walls surround well-known Square – the Red Square. Once Red Square was the place of executions, now the greatest military parades take place on it.
